  • Q. Do I need an Amazon Firestick?  
  • A. Yes, the Firestick 4K MAX is our top choice for overall performance.  The 2020 3rd generation or the 2018 4K Firestick are also reliable if you have superior in-home Wi-Fi service.  (Any LITE version Firestick or the most recent 2025 Fire TV Stick 4K SELECT will not support our app) Late model Fire TV's should also work and do not require a firestick. Roku sticks or Chromecast will not support our app.  Check out our Firestick recommendations at our "Sign me Up" page.
  • Q. If I do not have a Firestick, where do I get one and how much do they cost?
  • A. Amazon is very convenient.  Many retail locations are an option and they typically retail for $39.99 - $59.00. 
  • Q. Does VixPix work with my existing cable TV, antenna or other monthly paid TV service?
  • A. Yes, just change the source setting on your TV to match the HDMI input you are using with the Firestick.
  • Q. Do I need additional Firesticks for multiple household connections?
  • A. Yes.  As an alternative to re-locating your single firestick to a different TV,  you may choose 1,3 or 5 connections for multiple TV's in your single residential household.  (additional information and recommendations available at our "Sign me Up" page)
  • Q. Where does the Firestick plug into on my TV?
  • A. An available HDMI port on your TV is required.
  • Q. Am I able to sign up for service using my own name as the referral?
  • A. No.  The first and last name of an existing or prior customer is required.  Subscription requests without a verified referral will not be responded to.
  • Q. What is the average setup time and how will I receive my instructions and login information?    
  • A. Average set-up time is approximately 15 minutes.  Easy to follow instructions along with your activation credentials will be provided following the payment process via your email address on file typically within 2-24 hours depending when the order was received.  Check your spam.
  • Q. Does it cost extra to include adult content?
  • A. No, however your choice to include or exclude will be required during the sign-up process.
  • Q. Do I have parental control availability?
  • A. Yes, you can control the content by creating your own secure passwords.
  • Q. Can you provide a detailed listing of your programming choices?
  • A.  No.  Our vast selection should exceed your viewing expectations. 
  • Q. Am I able to sign up for more or less than 6 months?
  • A. No, service packages are set for 6 month intervals.  Following your initial 6-month service period, we will submit an invoice to your email address 7-14 days in advance of your renewal date.  If you decide not to renew for another consecutive 6 months, simply let us know and we will promptly cancel the invoice and your account.
  • Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
  • A. We accept Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Debit Cards and most Major Credit Cards.  Invoices for Credit Card payments and VENMO are submitted electronically via our processor PayPal to your email address.  We do not accept any type of payments over the phone.  
  • Q. Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay the invoice with a credit card?
  • A. No, you can make your one time secure payment with a major credit card option conveniently included with your emailed invoice.  WE USE PayPal to process our Credit Card payments.  NOTE:  YOUR CURRENT OR FUTURE MONTHLY STATEMENTS MAY IDENTIFY YOUR SIGN-UP OR RENEWAL PAYMENT AS PAYPAL, VIXPIX, MERCHANT ETC.  Please remember your payment date and amount prior to disputing the charge with your CC Processor/Paypal eliminating possible service interruption and additional re-connection fees.
  • Q. Is there any type of refund for technical issues or content changes?
  • A. No, we do not control the servers or content selection however new customers have a one time 14 day window as outlined in this website.
  • Q. Do you offer potential customers any type of trial?
  • A. No, however we do offer an unconditional 14 calendar day new customer refund option.
  • Q. Is there a limit to the amount of referrals?
  • A. No, we are pleased to offer ENDLESS complimentary months of service for each referral. Tell your friends and family!  The amount of free months added to your account is unlimited! Simply direct them to the website and ask them to include your name as the referral on the "sign me up" page.
  • Q. How will my referral reward be applied?
  • A. Once your referral has completed the sign up process and exceeded the 14 day guarantee period, we will add the appreciated month/s of service to your account in advance of your next renewal date.
  • Q. What if I paid my initial fee and decide to cancel?
  • A. We offer all new customers a 14 day opportunity to cancel for any reason. Simply contact us and your entire amount will be refunded typically within 1 business day.  There are no other refunds offered for any reason after the initial 14 day period. 
  • Q. Are additional household connections available for purchase during an active 6 month service period? 
  • A. Yes, we offer additional connections per single residential address.  A one-time activation fee of $25 plus a rate of $5.00 per connection/per month for the current and remaining months of your current 6-month service period.  There is no additional activation fee during the initial sign-up or at any renewal time.  Just contact us in advance with your request.
  • Q. What is the process for renewing my service every 6 months?
  • A. Renewal invoices are sent to your email address approximately 7-14 days in advance and are due PRIOR to the actual renewal day to avoid service interruption and additional fees. Cancelled invoices re-issued after your service expires are subject to a $25 re-connect fee. Your expire date is also included on your app home viewing screen and profile.
  • Q. How will receive my 6-month renewal invoice?
  • A. You will receive your optional 6-month renewal invoice via your email address on file from our processor PayPal offering a variety of payment options.  A PayPal account is not required. Your current and future renewal monthly billing statement/s from YOUR financial institution may include wording such as PAYPAL, frequently MERCHANT and/or VIXPIX as a description for our 6-month service fee.
